The ‘Sensima’ hitmaker disclosed this during an appearance on Hip TV’s Trending, hosted by reality star KimOprah. Skiibii emphasized that his approach involves waiting for artists to express interest in collaborating with him before proceeding.

I don’t call other artistes to do collaboration. It’s not my style. From Olamide, he wanted a collaboration with me. He asked for us to do a song together, and I obliged,” Skiibii said. Notably, his collaboration with Olamide resulted in a music video that garnered an impressive one million views on YouTube, marking a significant milestone in his career.

Skiibii went on to shed light on other collaborations he’s been a part of, stating, “My collaboration with Reekado Banks was because we were friends. We’ve got to have a relationship between us before we work. I don’t just work with anybody.” He highlighted the importance of a genuine connection before entering a collaborative venture.

He further shared insights into collaborations with Kizz Daniel and Davido, mentioning that their close friendships were the foundation for these musical collaborations. Skiibii added that even international rapper Tory Lanez expressed interest in featuring on his song, emphasizing that he didn’t initiate contact with the Canadian artist.
