JUST IN: Explosion Rocks Wike’s Father’s Church

No fewer than five youths have detonated an explosive at a church supposedly owned by Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike’s father.

Major portions of the church located in 25 Azikiwe Street Mile, 3 Diobu, Port Harcourt were said to have been affected by the explosive detonated on Saturday night.

Vanguard reported that the church identified as Christain Universal Church International belonged to the Governor Wike’s father, Mr. Nlemanya Wike.

The youths were said to have invaded the church with the explosives belonged to be dynamite.

However, three of the youths are said to be in police custody after local vigilante members assisted by residents of the community nabbed them in the act.

Also, operatives of Eagle Crack, an outfit of the Rivers State Police Command, Mopol 19 and other security agencies have reportedly taken over the area.

Neither the Nyesom Wike administration nor the state police command have confirmed the attack as of press time.
