Social media influencer, Benjamin Best Nnanyereugo aka Killaboi has been arrested by police in Sierra Leone.
Killaboi, 26, had in July 2023 taken to his Instagram page, @Killaboigram_, to confess that he stabbed his girlfriend, Augusta Osedion.
Osedion, a 21-year-old student of Lead City University, had earlier been declared missing and her lifeless body was found in the suspect’s residence at Oral Estate in the Ikota area of Lagos State.
Since the news came to light, many Nigerians have been calling on the authorities to arrest Killaboi, who has been on the run, to answer for his alleged crimes.
The police in Lagos declared the suspect wanted on October 10.
According to BBC News Pidgin, Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in Lagos State, SP Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed that police in Sierra Leone had nabbed the suspect.
He added that the next move was to extradite Killaboi to Nigeria.
