Just In: Shocking as soldier kills four colleagues, commits suicide

A soldier  of the Nigerian Army serving at Theatre Command Operation LAFIYA DOLE, Army Super Camp 15, located at Malam Fatori has opened fire on four of his colleagues.

The soldier later shot himself on Wednesday, a statement by Acting Director of Army Public Relations, Colonel Sagir Musa, has confirmed.

The Herald gathered that two other soldiers were injured from the shooting but are currently in stable condition in hospital in Maiduguri.

Colonel Musa, however, stated that efforts are ongoing to contact the families of our gallant colleagues who paid the supreme price in the line of duty.
