Manchester City’s midfield maestro, Kevin De Bruyne, has broken his silence amidst swirling rumors suggesting his involvement as a co-writer on Canadian rapper Drake’s latest track, ‘Wick Man,’ featured in the recently released ‘Scary Hours 3’ project.

Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) handle on Friday, the Belgian captain lightheartedly responded to the speculations, sharing a snapshot featuring himself alongside Drake, accompanied by a screenshot of the song credit. De Bruyne playfully captioned the post, “@Drake needed an assist.”

However, in a subsequent post, De Bruyne clarified his role in the song, emphasizing that he was not the credited co-writer. He quipped, “All jokes aside, it’s not me! Huge fan though!
