Killers of my aide must be found – Senator Yayi

The senator for Ogun West, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola aka Yayi, says those behind the killing of his aide, Adeniyi Sanni, must be fished out.

In a statement issued on Saturday, Senator Yayi’s spokesman, Kayode Odunaro explained that the victim’s lifeless body was discovered with gunshot wounds dumped at Toyota bus stop in the Oshodi area of Lagos State.

On Sunday, Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in Lagos State, SP Benjamin Hundeyin disclosed that the police were investigating the incident.

In a social media post on Monday, Senator Yayi described the late Sanni as a “dedicated” aide whose killers must be found.

“Sad and grieving the death of a dedicated aide, I arrived at the Senate for the national assignment of screening and confirmation of ministerial nominees.

“Receiving condolences from Senate Leader, Senator Opeyemi Bamidele, Senator Tokunbo Abiru, Senator Francis Fadahunsi, Senator Tony Nwoye and appreciation and condolence from Festus Keyamo SAN, a ministerial nominee.

“I appreciate the outpouring of condolences at this time from well-meaning Nigerians from all walks of life. It is well with all of us but the killers of my aide must be found,” Senator Yayi said.
