California-based dancer and singer, Korra Obidi has responded to Nigerians claim of her husband being the one who took her out of poverty and introduced her to the luxurious lifestyle.
In a viral video, she made the shocking revelation of how she was the one who paid for half her bride price and even settled her husband after the divorce.
She only reacted to this after the claims of her husband, Justin Dean, being the one to better her life after marriage.
Korra, the mother of two explained that she was tired of Nigerians claiming she dumped her husband after he brought her to America, revealing that she has been on constant attacks ever since her divorce from her husband.
She disclosed that she actually met her husband in China and stated that she paid her husband a $50,000 settlement after the divorce.
She said “Do you realize I paid half of my bride price. He took me out of poverty? Does any part of my family look poor to you? Anyone thinking he saved me and put me in the land of opportunity, no, that’s not what happened, we both met in China. I paid him $50,000, he did not give me one dime. I had to settle him after divorce”
