It comes as a shock to discover that a Lekki eatery where worms are served for breakfast actually exists. It is even more shocking to find out that Olaiya Foods, one of Lagosians’ most preferred restaurants is among those eateries.
A Lagos commuter has shared his unpleasant experience at Olaiya Foods at 11 Ayinde Akinmade street, Lekki Lagos after he went there to get his breakfast before administering his typhoid medication. He ordered Rice and beans, ofada sauce and Stockfish. In order not to be late to work, he opted for a takeaway.
However, few scoops into the meal, he discovered several snakelike looking creatures in the fish. The Olaiya regular Patron out of irritation, vomited the few scoops he’s had.
Knowing the major cause of Typhoid is ingestion of contaminated foods, one can not help but wonder if his constant patronage of Olaiya foods is what caused typhoid he is treating.
