In a recent interview with popular Nigerian OAP, Nedu, on his podcast series, The Honest Bunch, former Big Brother Naija star, Leo Da Silva, shared some eye-opening insights on the Nigerian real estate ecosystem, with a particular focus on Ajah, a region on the island.

During the conversation, Leo Da Silva described Ajah as a resettlement scheme and cautioned potential property buyers in the area. He revealed that the real owners of the lands in Ajah are not the landlords, despite what they may think. “Ajah is a resettlement scheme, it is already sold,” he said.

Leo went on to reveal that his father owns approximately 5000 square meters of land in Ajah, and he expressed concerns that when the government decides to allocate lands to the rightful owners, many residents in Ajah may be left homeless.

To support his claim, Leo cited an example of a similar incident that happened in Magodo. He warned that people need to be cautious and do proper due diligence before investing in real estate in Ajah.

On a lighter note, Nedu of Wazobia FM was recently caught on camera sharing a kiss with BBN Season 3 winner, Mercy Eke. While many believed it was for a skit, the incident has caused quite a stir on social media.
