Popular pop singer Lizzo is now facing serious accusations of sexual harassment and creating a hostile work environment as three of her former dancers file a lawsuit against her. The dancers claim that they were subjected to distressing experiences during their time working with the celebrated performer.

In the lawsuit filed at the Los Angeles Superior Court on Tuesday, the former dancers allege that Lizzo pressured one of them to touch a nude performer at a club in Amsterdam, raising concerns about inappropriate behavior. They further claim that the singer subjected the group to an “excruciating” audition process after leveling false accusations that they were drinking on the job.

Lizzo, who is well-known for her advocacy of body positivity and embracing her physique, is also accused of calling attention to one dancer’s weight gain and subsequently berating her. Shockingly, the dancer was later fired after recording a meeting, citing her health condition as the reason.

The lawsuit does not explicitly state if Lizzo knew about the allegations against the dance captain, Shirlene Quigley. However, the plaintiffs’ lawyer, Ron Zambrano, affirms that the dancers believed the singer was aware of their complaints about her behavior.

The legal filing also implicates the dance captain, accusing her of proselytizing to other performers and deriding those who engaged in premarital sex. Additionally, the captain is alleged to have shared lewd sexual fantasies, simulated oral sex, and publicly discussed the virginity of one of the plaintiffs.

This news has sent shockwaves through the entertainment industry, prompting calls for a thorough investigation into the allegations.
