All Progressives Gubernatorial Aspirant in Lagos, Mr. Olasupo Shasore has said that he is in the race because he feels a strong passion for Lagos state and his experience and insight would help him meet the people’s demand.
Mr Shasore made this statement at an interactive session with journalists yesterday.
He said “I feel a strong passion for Lagos State. As I said, I have been in public service for a while, I have gained a lot of experience of what the demands are, demands of the people who live in this state.
“The demands are significant and I feel that to meet those demands, we need only the best ability and the best human resources available to serve the people and that my experience and my insight and my knowledge place me in a unique position to continue to offer myself in this instance as the next governor of Lagos State.
“I actually believe that on the field, I probably would have several advantages over other people. Besides that, I think Lagos State demands only the best at this time and I think I have the services available to provide the best for Lagos at the gubernatorial level. So I am running simply because I have a lot to offer, I have a lot of experience to offer and I have the passion and the commitment to serve the people of Lagos State,”
Mr. Shasore also warned against introducing religion into politics in Lagos State.
