LP Candidate Condemns ‘Stomach Infrastructure’

Alhaji Fatai Akinbade who is the Labour Party candidate in the forthcoming governorship election in Osun State, has condemned proponents of ‘stomach infrastructure’,accusing them of introducing  a dangerous trend into the  nation’s body polity.
Rather,Akinbade averred that good governance and programmes were antidotes that could take care of the so called ‘stomach infrastructure’ which is beginning to find its way into the country’s political lexicon.


According to his media aide, Mr Kayode Oladeji, the LP candidate made assertions in Osogbo while exchanging views with some journalists “This new found word will not do our polity any good. It is a dangerous to our political development . If our people  allow themselves  to be hoodwinked by rice and kerosene distributing politicians,then the future of this country could be in jeopardy”
He noted that any well meaning politician should sell his programmes to the electorate and not food which would not endure,adding that was the best way to ensure a sustained development of the country.


Akinbade admonished that a day mistake in choosing a wrong candidate at the polls,would translate to another four years of hardship,” so people should be discouraged from using the rice or kerosene of today, to mortgage their better tomorrow
Meanwhile,the Ogbaagbaa born politician has expressed the optimism that his pedigree would stand him out among the motley of other contenders at the election.
