The power tussle within the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP took yet another unexpected dimension yesterday as the former acting National Chairman of the party, Ali Modu-Sheriff took over power from his opposition and chairman of the constituted caretaker committee, Senator Makarfi.
In reaction to the latest development, Senator Makarfi took to his social media account on Twitter to express his opinion.
He wrote:
“If we truly love our party, we will not be trying to destroy it for selfish interest.”
