A man has shot his father-in-law and wife to death before killing himself with the same rifle.
According to reports, the 31-year-old man, Chaiyaporn, had engaged in an argument with his father-in-law, Samphan Thanamsri, 60 at the Nakhon Pathom Hospital in northern Thailand on Friday afternoon.
The father-in-law reportedly insulted the man for being jobless, adding that his daughter, Thanyamas Thanamsri, 26, would soon leave him.
An infuriated Chaiyaporn then brought out a concealed weapon from his bag and shot his father-in-law twice in the head.
He also turned the gun on his wife, who was in the hospital for postpartum problems after undergoing a surgery for kidney, heart and lung failure two weeks before.
He shot her in the chest, arms and back.
However, the couple’s six-week-old baby, who was present during the shooting, was unhurt.
