Nollywood actor Yul Edochie’s first wife, May Edochie, has made a heartfelt return to social media after the tragic passing of their son, Kambilichukwu. May, who had been absent from social media since the devastating loss of their 16-year-old son in March 2023, shared her first Instagram post on Saturday, July 8th, following the tragic incident.
In her poignant Instagram post, May uploaded a touching photo of herself and her children. In the caption, she expressed her gratitude for the love and support she received during her time of grief while paying tribute to her late son. May acknowledged that no words can adequately convey their gratitude to everyone who stood by their side during this challenging time. She firmly believed that although their loss is immeasurable, it is now Heaven’s gain.
The grieving mother then went on to reflect on the unique pain and sorrow that comes with losing a child. She highlighted the absence of a specific English word to describe this anguish, except for the term “vilomah,” which denotes going against the natural order. May emphasized that losing a child is an indescribably intense and painful experience. Despite the inexpressible grief that still engulfs their hearts, May assured her followers that, by God’s special grace, they are doing fine.
May also acknowledged the uncertainty of the future and the unforgettable nature of certain events. She acknowledged the necessity of finding a way to live with the pain and difficulties, no matter how overwhelming they may be. The support and love that she and her family received from friends, family, and well-wishers worldwide were beyond imagination and unconditional. May expressed her gratitude for the prayers that sustained them during this trying time.
