“Mercy Eke is not local, she is simply Nigerian”- Yul Edochie Defends The Reality Star

Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has taken to twitter to defend Big brother reality star, Mercy Eke after she was called ‘local’.

Earlier on, Nigerian vlogger, Oluwa-Tosin Silverdam, called out the Imo state born reality star, for being excessively ‘local’ and ‘annoying’ in nature.

He also slammed other Big Brother reality housemates, including: Tuoyo, Ifu Ennada, Gifty and Khloe.

According to him, they are trying so much to trend and remain relevant on social media, but it’s not working because they’re not up to standard.

 

While talking about Mercy Eke specifically, he said: “Her fans keep attacking me on social media but still yet I don’t like her, she’s too annoyingly local. She’s too mgbeke feeling funky. I said what I said.”

However, Yul Edochie seemed to disagree with the blogger.

He said: “White people messed up our brains making us see our own ways as local.

“C. Ronaldo speaks English with a Portuguese accent, have you called him local?

“Many brains need to be formatted in this country.

“We no be Oyibo.

Mercy Eke is not local, she is simply Nigerian or Biafran.
