In a poignant series of posts shared on her Instagram story, Wunmi, who had shared a decade-long journey with Mohbad, unveiled a heart-wrenching account of their life together, marked by struggles, battles with depression, and an insurmountable sense of unhappiness that ultimately led to the singer’s untimely demise.
The heartbroken young widow, who now finds herself at the tender age of 24, contemplated the daunting task of rebuilding her life and raising their infant son on her own.
Amidst her grief, Wunmi penned an emotional tribute to her late husband, shedding light on the internal battles he faced throughout his life. She wrote, “This Nigga struggled till death, too many pains, threatening, he has always lived with fears, continuous fights everywhere he goes too, he has never been happy for a whole day. He was called a junkie, a mad person, mental issue so the public would have another view about him… he’s dead, at least you all won, take your trophy.“
