Mr Eazi Forms New Pan-African Music Group

Nigerian artist and business executive, Mr Eazi has announced the formation of a new pan-African music group, Choplife Soundsystem.

Choplife Soundsystem is a new Pan-African music group that derives its name from the popular West African pidgin slang phrase #choplife which means enjoy life.

The group has been revealed to consist of DJs, artists and producers from across the African continent, with Kenyan DJ, DJ Edu as the resident DJ.

Mr Eazi, will serve as the vocalist behind the music group and has stated that he will be the ‘minister of enjoyment’ at live events.

His new group, Choplife Soundsystem was kickstarted in the grounds with events in African countries such as Benin, Cotonou, Rwanda and other countries in 2022.

On the launching of the music group, Mr Eazi said that “I’m going back to where I started from, hosting the biggest parties at university. That’s how I started singing. I am looking forward to this new and fun ride, and I can’t wait for all the music to start dropping and the accompanying live experience
