MTV Base has named Olamide as the hottest Nigerian artist for the year 2015. The Shakiti Bobo crooner is recently released his fifth studio album ‘Eyan Mayweather.’
His label YBNL has promoted some rising stars in the music industry, like Lil Kesh and Adekunle Gold.
Olamide’s Falila Ketan, Shakiti Bobo, Melo Melo and Lagos Boys also made top ten music videos watched on You tube in Nigeria.
The MTV Base panel that ranked the hottest artists include OAPs Omalicha, Do2dtun and Sade Ladipo,Olisa Adibua, entertainment journalist Osagie Alonge, DJ Spinall and VJ Ehiz.
