Mysterious Deaths in Kano Caused By Coronavirus – Presidential Task Force

The Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 has confirmed the speculations of Nigerians the mysterious deaths in Kano State was caused by undetected cases of coronavirus.

This was announced by Dr. Nasiru Sani Gwarzo, head of the Presidential Task Force on Sunday.

According to Gwarzo, recent tests carried out on deceased individuals confirmed the assessment.

“Let me inform us that most of the deaths recorded of recent and test carried out showed that Coronavirus was the cause.

So, before the final report which would be ready in the next one week or few days, it is necessary for people of Kano to wake up from their slumber that this is a serious issue.

“It is not a new thing, countries like America, China, Italy, Spain, England, France and others experienced similar mysterious deaths.” he said.

Kano state has been plagued by an alarming rate of sudden deaths as hundred of residents, rich and poor started dying mysteriously nearly two weeks ago.

The state government initially denied the reports before blaming malaria and hypertension for the deaths.

The recent findings however have revealed that most of the deceased died from coronavirus. If this is true that would make Kano state the new epicentre of the Coronavirus pandemic in Nigeria.
