It was good tidings for Nigerians today as the Naira recorded gains against the dollar on the parallel and official markets.
It strengthened N10 to close at N270 on the black market.
The official interbank window rose N0.03 to close the week at N196.97.
An economist, Dr. Evans Osabouhien has said that the Naira will continue to gain against the dollar throughout the holidays as dollar remittances, from Nigerians in the diaspora, as well as from those returning to celebrate the holidays at home, are expected to be on the increase.
