The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) has appointed billionaire business man, Ned Nwoko as Chairman Board of National Patrons of AGN.

Taking to his social media page, the president of the guild, Emeka Rollas, shared the news of another appointment of the guild, naming Prince Ned Nwoko, billionaire business man and husband of Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels.

He wrote: “Rt Hon Prince Ned Nwoko a man with a lion heart. Husband to one of our own Princess Regina Daniels Nwoko. It was my pleasure decorating you with all the instruments of your appointment as Chairman Board of National Patrons of Actors Guild of Nigeria AGN. You have promised to join hands with other patrons to massively support the AGN projects. God keep you.”

This announcement comes few days after the AGN revealed Senator Elisha Abbo as a patron of the association.

The association received a lot of backlash from people for appointing the senator as a patron.

This was due to a video that went viral of the senator last year physically assaulting a nursing mother in a sex toy shop in Abuja.

Kate Henshaw reacting to the news wrote: ”Emeka Rollas, I cannot find your handle on Twitter. My name is Kate Henshaw and I do not mince words when I say @AbboElisha is NOT worthy to be a patron of the Actors Guild of Nigeria.

”We have women in this guild, and we do not want to be slapped.”
