New Year Fireworks: 2 Killed, 5 In Need Of Amputation From Overzealous Celebrations

The German police have announced that 2 people have been killed and 5 people injured and requiring amputations due to the fireworks from the New year’s celebration.

A 19-year-old and 35-year-old both died from fireworks exploding in their faces in Brandenburg police declared on Twitter.

Daily Markische Algemeine sources reveal a group of youths injured an 11-year-old boy with severe injuries to the face from throwing fireworks at him.

The firework has been described as the “Polish rocket” which can be bought at the Polish border and contains more explosive than those which are shelved in Germany.

5 people had hands or fingers amputated after suffering severe injuries with fireworks making the total number of people injured in Berlin 21 according to hospital records

Fires and injuries from fireworks are not a rare occurrence during New year Celebrations in Germany.
