A former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has warned President Muhammadu Buhari against seeking a return to Aso Rock in 2019 or the nation will be soaked in blood.
Fani-Kayode, who was also Minister of Culture, made this known in a tweet on his verified Twitter handle on Friday evening.
A fiery critic of the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led Federal Government, the politician is known to also regularly criticise the president on his policies and alleged non-challant attitude towards ending violence perpetrated by herdsmen across the country.
In the Friday tweet, he said: “If @MBuhari returns to power next year this country will be soaked from top to bottom in blood and she will burn. A killer of Christians, southerners and Middle Belters cannot rule our nation and slaughter our people for another 4 years. We will resist it and we will stop him.”
