On the fourth day of his pilgrimmage to Israel, President Goodluck Jonathan has called on Nigerians to continue to pray for the country, saying that Nigeria will be better.

Jonathan made the promise at an interdenominational service for 2013 Nigerian pilgrims.

The President said, “Let me reassure you that even though our nation is passing through challenges this period, God has made it possible for us to pray at a period like this.

“I assure you that things will continue to improve for the better as Nigeria will no longer be the same.”

The president also expressed gratitude for the Yitzhak Rabin Family Award for Good Leadership awarded him by Yuval Rabin, the first son of former Israelian Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin.

President Jonathan and several governors including Gabriel Suswam of Benue, Emmanuel Uduaghan of Delta, Liyel Imoke of Cross River and Jonah Jang of Plateau also joined over 50,000 Nigerian christian pilgrims to receive the title of Jerusalem Pilgrims(JP).
