Nigerian artist Fave kicked off the new year with an unexpected twist. What began as a lighthearted backstage moment hugging Davido took a sour turn when she discovered her verse had been omitted from his performance of ‘Kante’ – a song they were supposed to perform together.
Fave took to Twitter to express her disappointment, stating that performing with Davido would have been a great way to start her year, but life had different plans.
However, the situation escalated when Fave faced backlash on social media for her tweet. In a subsequent post, she admitted regretting not addressing her feelings privately, acknowledging the unforgiving nature of the internet.
Tweeps had earlier stated that she was facing her own form of karma, referring to a past incident where she selected a graphic designer’s artwork, which was deemed mediocre, during an open song cover competition.
