In a recent exclusive interview with the ‘Tell Your Story’ podcast, Nigerian content creator Amarachi Amusi, better known as Ashmusy, opened up about her views on the relationship status of many wealthy female celebrities in Nigeria. Ashmusy, who has gained fame and fortune through her online presence, shed light on why she believes that these successful women often find themselves single.
During her candid conversation with fellow content creator Zicsaloma, Ashmusy pointed out that one significant reason behind the single status of many female celebrities is the intimidation factor. According to her, a substantial number of men are intimidated by the financial success and independence that these women have achieved in their careers.
Using her own experiences as an example, Ashmusy shared that her ownership of a Range Rover Velar and a house has, in the past, discouraged potential suitors from pursuing a relationship with her. She expressed how these material possessions, often seen as symbols of her success, have created a barrier in her love life.
However, Ashmusy did not stop there. She went on to reveal her preference for dating men who are wealthier than she is. In her perspective, she believes that the man should take on the primary provider role in a relationship. This preference aligns with traditional gender roles where the man is expected to be the breadwinner.
Notably, Ashmusy recently made headlines for her generous gift to her mother, presenting her with a luxurious Lexus SUV.
