A man, Olufemi Adegbulugbe, has earned the irk of some Nigerians on Twitter after announcing that he came to Nigeria ahead of the 2019 general election, worked for President Muhammadu Buhari’s re-election and returned ‘home’ to Canada.

He tweeted, “Finally arrived back home to Canada after 40 days in Nigeria. I enjoyed my visit to campaign and vote for the next level. During my vIsit, I also worked (on) senate bill SB 449 2017. God has put to shame those that wished me dead for embarking on a journey from Canada to vote PMB.”

However, many angry commentators slammed Adegbulugbe for helping to install an unpopular government and then returning to his base in Canada instead of waiting in Nigeria to see the outcome of his choice.
