Popular Nigerian singer, Adewale Mayowa Emmanuel, known as Mayorkun, has confirmed that he is currently single, revealing that he and his British girlfriend, Cocainna, have parted ways. Mayorkun cited the reason for their breakup as the relationship not working out. Despite the end of their romantic involvement, he emphasized that he remains on good terms with the British model.
Mayorkun made this revelation during a recent interview on Cool FM Nigeria, where he was hosted by reality star Tacha. When asked about his relationship status, he responded with a simple “No.”
Regarding his past relationship with Cocainna, he said, “Life happened. But we are still cool. We are very cool. It’s just that you meet somebody it works out, you meet somebody it doesn’t work out.”
The singer also addressed rumors that he has an obsession with dating London girls. He clarified that this was because he spends a significant amount of time in the city, stating, “Nothing special but London has my heart.”
Mayorkun and Cocainna had ignited relationship speculations last year after the British dancer and influencer took the singer on a date in London. Subsequently, the couple confirmed their romantic involvement.
