The ex-Chairman, House Committee on Appropriation, Mr. Abdulmumin Jibrin, who is currently under a gag order by the APC has gotten bashed on twitter for sharing a photo of his wife.
Jibrin ,who is in the middle of a messy battle with the speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara over allegations of budget padding has seen his stock drop with some Nigerians over the photo.
Earlier it had been reported that the All Progressive Congress (APC) had intervened in the matter and directed the whistleblower to not speak about the Dogara matter anymore.
The ex-chairman in what he probably intended to be a cheeky tweet posted a message saying “Since i can’t post anything else, let me just celebrate my wife”.
What followed was a surprising number of reprimands mostly over the fact that his wife was not covered in the photo.
One person even called him a hypocrite, another said he’d been gagged and wasn’t showing any mettle.
Jibrin’s most recent jab at Dogara was that he accused the speaker of bribing appropriation members to lie at the press conference where they had turned against Jibrin.
