Famous Nollywood actor Jim Iyke has offered an explanation for his guarded approach when questioned about his ex-girlfriend, actress Nadia Buari, during recent interviews.
Jim Iyke previously refrained from discussing his past relationship with the Ghanaian actress, responding to inquiries with a seemingly dismissive “Who is that?”
However, in a recent interview with Starr Drive FM, the actor clarified his evasive response, stating that divulging explicit details about past relationships would not only be inappropriate but also disrespectful to their current partners.
He expressed his reasoning, saying, “If I answer this question, it will be a lose-lose. If I were to say certain things, it would be to the detriment of my partner and also of her husband.”
Jim Iyke further emphasized the importance of respect within current relationships, particularly in cases involving public figures. He explained that discussing past relationships, especially in explicit terms, could be distressing for current partners, and he wanted to avoid causing any offense.
