Popular On Air Personality (OAP) Oladotun Ojuolape, professionally known as Do2dtun, has responded to a court order that prohibits him from defaming his ex-wife’s brother, renowned singer D’banj.

The dispute arose from a custody battle between Do2dtun and his estranged wife, Taiwo. During this legal dispute, Do2dtun made allegations against D’banj, accusing the musician of causing him distress while he was still married to Taiwo. In response to the allegations, Do2dtun posted court documents online, revealing that a judge had granted him divided child custody with Taiwo.

Subsequently, the Chief District Court of the Federal Capital Territory in Wuse Zone 2, Abuja, issued a court order prohibiting Do2dtun from making defamatory statements against D’banj on social media or any other platform. The court also directed the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Force Intelligence Bureau, to investigate a criminal complaint filed by D’banj against Do2dtun within two weeks and report back to the court.

Do2dtun shared his reaction to this development in an Instagram post. He expressed his concern about not being able to see his children and accused D’banj of playing a power game against him. Do2dtun emphasized that the ultimate goal for him is to have access to his children, and he stated that he would focus on this priority.

The OAP also conveyed his frustration, mentioning that the ongoing dispute could have been avoided if everyone had complied with a “simple court order.” Do2dtun called for a resolution that would allow him to have contact with his children and lead his life peacefully, insisting that he won’t be bullied in the process.
