A simmering feud between Nigerian artists OdumoduBlvck and Jaywon has erupted on social media earlier today, following comments made by Jaywon during a podcast interview.

In the interview, Jaywon expressed admiration for OdumoduBlvck, stating, “I love OdumoduBlvck even if his music is not all that…” He then went on to speculate how OdumoduBlvck might feel if a rising artist from Abuja credited him for paving the way for their success.

OdumoduBlvck took offense to Jaywon’s remarks, particularly the comment about his music. He responded on social media, referencing a past collaboration with singer Ayyra Starr and criticizing Jaywon for not achieving similar success with her. The exchange quickly escalated, with both artists trading barbs and accusations.

OdumoduBlvck questioned Jaywon’s seniority in the industry, stating, “OG no be by age. Na by doings and coordination.” He further criticized Jaywon’s music, claiming that if his own music was considered “not all that,” then Jaywon’s music was “nothing.”

Jaywon responded by calling OdumoduBlvck “arrogant” and acknowledging that while he respects OdumoduBlvck’s hustle, “everybody knows the music is not all that.” He advised OdumoduBlvck to “calm down and listen to small advice.

The exchange continued with OdumoduBlvck taking another jab at Jaywon’s career, stating, “You wey your music na all that, na only January 1st dem dey book you for show. Sapa Anthem.” This comment mocks Jaywon, suggesting his music is only relevant at the beginning of the year, possibly referencing songs about financial struggles (“sapa”).
