Former Real Madrid and Tottenham player Van Der Vaart, stated that he believes that Cristiano Ronaldo is irreplaceable for the team.
The Portuguese forward left the La Liga giants in the summer before joining Italian behemoths Juventus where he has gone on to be very successful.
Van Der Vaart played with Ronaldo in 09/10 season and said the goals that Ronaldo scored is impossible to replace.
“You cannot just replace a player who scores 40 to 50 goals per season, and, of course, Real miss Ronaldo,” Van der Vaart said to Goal

“What he did at Real is totally crazy.
“The quality in the squad is still there. They don’t need any winter signings. It’s always difficult to find suitable players in the winter to really help a team in this class.
“The team has to grow together again to compensate for the departure of Ronaldo.
“Santiago Solari is doing a very good job, but he needs some time.”
Solari has done pretty well so far, winning eight of the nine matches he has taken charge
