Olamide has been named as the recipient of The Future Awards Africa Prize in Entertainment.
He was nominated alongside four other artistes namely Yemi Alade (Nigeria), Vanessa Mdee (Tanzania), Refiloe Maele “Cassper Nyovest” Phoolo (South Africa) and Anne Kansiime (Uganda).
Often described as the ‘Nobel Prize for Young Africans’, The Future Awards is the must attend event of the year for every Nigerian youth.
Olamide recently released a new album titled Eyan Mayweather , his unique delivery and lyrics have made him the delight of Nigerian fans.
