Oshiomhole Calls Omisore Murderer On Saturday, Offers Him N480m On Wednesday – Fani-Kayode

Former Aviation Minister, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has accused National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole of deriding Social Democratic Party (SDP) candidate in Osun, Sen. Iyiola Omisore on Saturday and attempting to bribe him four days later.

Fani-Kayode made this known in a tweet via his verified Twitter handle on Wednesday morning.

According to Fani-Kayode, the party chairman called Omisore a murderer on Saturday, but when it emerged the APC needed him, promised to give him N480 million cash and a senatorial ticket of the party.

Recall that the APC and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have been lobbying Omisore, who emerged third in the election, after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared the election inconclusive.

The electoral body also declared a rerun in seven polling units where election results were cancelled.

Majority of the seven polling units fall under areas that are traditional strongholds of Omisore, hence the intense lobbying by the two leading political parties.

Speaking on APC’s alleged duplicity in their dealings with Omisore, Fani-Kayode tweeted, “On Saturday Adams Oshiomhole called Iyiola Omisore a murderer and by Wednesday he offered him 480 million and the APC senatorial ticket. I trust that Iyiola will remember that dining with the devil is a risky business: the bible says what profiteth a man to gain the world and lose his soul.”

Fani-Kayode added, “The fate of the people of Osun and the outcome of tomorrow’s rerun are in the hands of God and not in the hands of any man. No matter what the APC does and no matter who chooses to work for them, God’s counsel shall stand, His will shall be done and His name shall be glorified.”
