The Spiritual leader and founder of the Faith Word Church International located in Nii Boi Town, Accra, Ghana has been arrested by the Tesano police for indecent assault and breach of trust.
Pastor Agyei was alleged to have rubbed annointing oil on the vagina and on the clitoris of his church member in an attempt to cast out evil spirits from the member.
He was reported to have thereafter attempted to rape the church member who managed to escape from his clutches.
Confirming the incident, the Tesano Divisional Crime Officer, DSP Aba-Afari revealed that the victim of the pastor’s indecent assault is an 18-year-old Senior High School graduate.
The pastor was alleged to have solicited with the victim’s mother after church service on 28th August to allow her come for deliverance on Tuesday, 30th August as God had revealed to him that she was possessed.
The victim upon getting to church on Tuesday was led to the pastor’s home where he asked if she had ever been with a man.
DSP Aba-Afari said: “Pastor Edmond Kakrae Agyei again asked the victim if she had experienced menstrual pains before and the victim answered in the affirmative.”
The pastor thereafter told the victim that he could help with the menstrual pains as it was the work of the devil.
The pastor proceeded to request that the victim get naked and lie down while he rubbed the oil on her privates and navel claiming he was directed by the Holy Spirit.
Pastor Edmond Kakrae Agyei after this tried to force himself on the victim who struggled free and reported the case.
