Anti-Corruption Agency vows to end corruption in Oyo

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has condoled with the Governor of Oyo State, Governor Seyi Makinde, over the death of his Special Adviser on Infrastructure, Engr. James Adepoju.

PDP’s condolence message was contained in a statement signed by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan.

The Herald can report that Adepoju died on Wednesday of an undisclosed ailment.

Before his appointment last year, he was the Engineering Head of Prize Engineering Consultants Limited.

The party said it was indeed saddened over the death of Engr. Adepoju, who it described as a very loyal, energetic and dedicated aide.

According to the party, the late aide was playing a pivotal role in Governor Makinde’s accomplishments in infrastructural development in the state before his demise.

“Our party indeed grieves but we take solace in God’s promise regarding those who departed in good works.

“The PDP commiserates with Governor Makinde, the Adepoju family as well as the government and people of Oyo state and beseech God to grant all the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss,” the statement read in part.
