President Bola Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima and Senate President Godswill Akpabio led dignitaries to the 12th National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the Congress Hall of the Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja.
The president, who is the leader of the party, arrived at the venue at 12:20 pm to kick-off the meeting.
At the NEC meeting, the immediate-past Governor of Kano, Alhaji Abdullahi Ganduje and spokesman of the Ninth Senate, Senator Ajibola Basiru were confirmed as the National Chairman and National Secretary of the APC.
Ganduje thus replaced Abdullahi Adamu, while Basiru replaced Iyiola Omisore.
