President Muhammadu Buhari today hosted the newly-appointed service chiefs at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The meeting is the first between the number one citizen and the military chiefs whose appointments were announced on Tuesday.
The new Service Chiefs are: Major-General Leo Irabor, Chief of Defence Staff; Major-General I. Attahiru, Chief of Army Staff; Rear Admiral A.Z Gambo, Chief of Naval Staff; and Air-Vice Marshal I.O Amao, Chief of Air Staff.
Chief of Staff to the President, Prof. Ibrahim Gambari was also at present at the president’s meeting with the new service chiefs.
