Aisha Buhari, Wife of President Buhari, hosted wives of former Presidents and wives of former Vice Presidents to Dinner at the state house on June 9th.
The immediate first lady Patience Jonathan was missing from the dinner though, this was simply because the dinner was the iftar dinner, used to break the Muslim fast after Ramadan.
Some of the former first ladies and wives of ex-Vice Presidents present include Mrs Jummai Tafawa Balewa, Mrs Victoria Gowon, Haj. Khadija Shehu Shagari, Justice Fati Abubakar, Mrs Victoria Aguiyi Ironsi, Mrs Maryam Abacha and Mrs Beatrice Ekwueme
