Akwa Ibom state pensioners today took to the fight against the non payment of their pension allowances to the gate of the state government house.
The pensioners who carried place cards with several inscriptions staged a protest against the state government demanding the payment of their allowance.
Some of the pensioners were seen on the ground looking exhausted in front of the state Government House.
