The embattled senate President Bukola Saraki has divided opinion due to his case with the CCT. Many have vilified while others have been sympathetic, claiming that he is the victim of a witch hunt.
A few weeks ago, while in a mosque in his hometown, the Senate President was embarrassed when worshippers at a mosque refused to let the presiding Imam pray for Saraki.
Yesterday though, the Senate President literally had to battle his way to his car as tons of people who seemed to be in support of him mobbed him after Jumat prayer at Ilorin Central Mosque.
His security detailed earned their keep as they battled to make sure the Senate President made it safely into the vehicle.
