The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, and his running mate, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, on Monday led other party bigwigs to the PDP presidential campaign rally in Lagos.
The Herald can report that the rally held at the Tafawa Balewa Square.
National Chairman of the party, Senator Iyorchia Ayu; former Senate President, Senator Bukola Saraki; Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom State and Governor Douye Diri of Bayelsa State were present at the rally.
Also present were former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Yakubu Dogara and governorship candidate of the party in Lagos, Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran.
Sharing photos of the event on Facebook, Saraki said, “The impressive turnout at the PDP rally today in Lagos State signifies that Lagosians are ready for change.
“I thank all the people who came out today to demonstrate their support for our party’s candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, and the PDP!” Saraki said.
