In a recent revelation, BBNaija Level-Up winner, Ijeoma Josephina Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, disclosed the reason behind her choice to support Ilebaye over Adekunle in the ongoing Big Brother Naija ‘All Stars’ season.
Phyna, who clinched victory in the Level Up season a year earlier, shed light on her decision not to campaign for Adekunle, despite their shared experience in the reality show, citing their lack of close rapport and Adekunle’s romantic involvement with Venita, whom Phyna openly admitted to disliking.
The backdrop to her stance lies in the romantic relationship between Adekunle and Venita, which bloomed during their time in the house and continued even after Venita’s exit from the show. Both participants acknowledged their romantic involvement during an episode hosted by Ebuka.
In a widely circulated video, the Edo-born actress emphasized her inability to hide her feelings and stand by Adekunle due to his ongoing romantic entanglement with Venita. Phyna asserted her stronger dedication to the Level Up season, where Ilebaye was also a contender, as a contributing factor to her support towards Ilebaye’s campaign.
