Police ambush notorious kidnappers in Benue, recover charms and ammunition (photos)

Police officers in Benue have successfully retrieved different ranges of ammunition as well as charms from some notorious group of kidnappers around Katsina-Ala Local Government in the state.

According to the police spokesperson, DSP Catherine Anene, the officers had gone on a routine patrol after they got an Intel. As soon as they cited the suspects, they quickly ambushed them. Although the two parties got into a crossfire action, the policemen were able to overpower them. She further explained that the kidnapper eventually escaped from the scene but left two bags which contained about 45 rounds of ammunition, 8 magazines of AK 47, different sorts of charms, as well as a knife.
