Police exhume Mohbad’s corpse, autopsy underway – Spokesman

The remains of musician, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba popularly known as Mohbad have been exhumed.

Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in Lagos, SP Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed this in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Thursday afternoon.

He said that an autopsy on the body would commence.

Mohbad died on September 12 and was buried the next day in the Ikorodu area of Lagos.

Many Nigerians have called for investigation into the circumstances surrounding the musician’s death.

This caused the Commissioner for Police in Lagos, CP Idowu Owohunwa to set up a 13-man special investigation team to probe Mohbad’s death.

The Governor of Lagos, Babajide Sanwo-Olu subsequently invited the Department of State Services (DSS) to join the investigation so as to unearth the truth.
