A French singer, Barbara Weldens has reportedly collapsed and died on stage during a concert.
The singer according to The Independent died while performing on stage at a church located in the small south-west French village of Goudron.
The 35-year-old singer, Weldens, was reported to have suffered cardiac arrest during her performance which is a part of the Leo Ferre festival.
Local news source however reported that the singer died due to electrocution.
The local media hinted that she was electrocuted on stage at the event although BBC reports that police are still investigating the cause of the singer’s death.
The singer was until her death an up-and-coming singer who had won the young talent award after releasing her first album this year.
