Muhammad Kamis, the member representing Dutsinma Constituency in Katsina State House of Assembly, has called for the provision of potable water to his constituency.
Kamis who moved the motion at a plenary on Wednesday, called for the provision of potable water to the people of Karufawa, in Karufawa Ward of his constituency.
He lamented that the people of the area are suffering due to water shortage pointing out that the state government should provide facilities to enhance access to safe and clean water to the people.

The lawmaker noted that water is one of the basic necessities to human existence hence the need to provide potable water to the people.
Also, Nasiru Yahaya, member representing the Daura Constituency seconded the motion tabled by Kamis, adding that the motion was imperative in view of the significance of water to human lives and urged the House to adopt it.
The Speaker, Alhaji Tasi’u Musa, said the House unanimously adopted the motion, noting that it would be transmitted to the executive for implementation.
