Barely four months after President Buhari got sworn in for his second term in office and Posters have begun to emerge on who sits on the Presidential throne come 2023. These Posters are sponsored by supporters of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.

Spotted on Ikeja Along expressway was a billboard with a picture of APC Chieftain Bola Ahmed Tinubu with the caption “BAT 2023″ although the billboard has since been taken down.

According to Daily Punch, Abuja is also not left out of this politicking as Posters of APC National Chairman, Adams Oshiomole and Governor Nasir El-Rufai as his running mate have been seen on several public Infrastructures such as Traffic Kiosks and walls, with the caption ‘MANDATE 2023”

The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria, MACBAN, sponsored this advertisement as the name of the Association is seen on the lower end of the Poster.

None of these APC top dogs have made a public statement declaring their intention to run for 2023 Presidency but there are whispers that they are using their proxies to push their political ambitions.

Anthony Sani who is the National Secretary for the Arewa Consultative Forum has described the posters as injurious to Nigeria’s democracy and harmful to President  Buhari whose  Administration was not mature enough to take all the politicking on Presidency 2023.
